General Manager
I started working in the apparel sector in 1985. I had the chance to meet and work with some of the most important people in the industry: Guy Azoulay, Adriano Goldschmied, Elio Fiorucci, Francois Girbaud e Giorgio Armani. At the beginning (1995), on my own, I started offering treatments consultancy to brands and this was creating a new professional profile: the washing consultant. At the same time, I had another intuition and I started to offer my know-how to fabric suppliers that followed my idea to change the way they were showing their collections, presenting washed garments instead of the raw fabrics. Innovation has always been my goal and it is the passion I have for this job the drive pushing me to keep on undertaking new challenges. The last one is MYR.

Adriano Goldschmied
Adriano Goldschmied
Some call him the "god-father of denim"; others know him as Adriano Goldschmied. His passion and innovation have paved the way for designer denim and have remained unparalleled in a distinguished career spanning over 40 years. Goldschmied took the jean from work wear and made them fashionable, a style of life available to everybody. He fused his admiration of high fashion glamour and vintage sensibility, resulting in cutting-edge designs. Goldschmied's unpredictable ideas and experimental concepts result in a luxuriously casual and rare denim collections.
Goldschmied's denim knowledge and history in the industry is unmatched. He hails from the Italian port of Trieste and opened The King Shop in 1971 in the ski resort of Cortina, D'Ampezzo followed by the launch of 'King's Jeans' and 'Daily Blue'. Eight years later he founded Diesel, bringing in Renzo Rosso, who he mentored as a partner. In 1980 he formed 'The Genius Group', a think tank of the most artistic and influential minds in the fashion industry including Katherine Hamnett, Tony Viramontes, Paul Harvey, David Mantey and more. Under the umbrella of Genius Group, Goldschmied was instrumental to the development of other successful European brands including Replay, Bobo Kaminsky, Goldie, Evisu and Rivet.
In 1993 he began manufacturing his signature line, 'A Gold E', in Los Angeles. In the late 90s he also consulted for the GAP, which with him launched the highly successful 1969 line. His subsequent venture, 'AG Adriano Goldschmied', founded in Italy in 1996 and relocated to Los Angeles in 2000, won Sportswear International's Best Women's Jeans award for 2002 through 2004. Adriano permanently moved to the United States by 1999.
Goldschmied went on to create the luxury denim label GOLDSIGN in 2005, elevating premium denim to new heights. Goldschmied says: "I like to push the envelope because sometimes you don't know what the limits are until you have passed them." With Goldsign he was able to bring denim to its highest level of luxury, design, research and innovation. Some of the most memorable creations during this time include the introduction of the super stretch denim, blended fibers, and coated denim.
Today, Goldschmied is a member of The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), an association which includes all of the most influential designers in America.
Adriano is as always looking to propel and push his work in new sectors and spheres, just like he has always done. Understanding the many changes and shifts in lifestyle, and looking to bring denim in uncharted territories, Adriano has focused his latest efforts in Asia developing new revolutionary fabrics that create a bridge between the indigo world and the performance of athletic fabrics. A revolutionary concept, and yet another 'reintroduction' to denim.
The expression of this new innovation is represented in Adriano's new venture Acynetic, launched in 2016. Once again turning the denim world upside down, Adriano created a product which has all the most desirable qualities of jeans, but as comfortable as leggings. At the heart of this revolution is the fabric he created called Nude Blue. With unparalleled levels of comfort and maximum stretchability on all sides, this is sure to adhere to the dynamic lifestyle of modern women worldwide.
However, even though Adriano knows that his customers are ready for an age of innovation, they are also real denim lovers at heart. That's why for AW17 he has created Acynetic ‘TO BE DEFINED', and has gone back to his roots and re-created classics, taking inspiration from the collections he designed in the late 80's and early 90's but with a new vision in fabrics and fits. The name particularly alludes to the fact that this era of denim is unknown and new to millennials, making it an extremely exciting project for Adriano, who is always true to the soul of denim but also continually pushes the boundaries to bring jeans to new horizons. -

Art & Marketing
I've been around creativity and graphic design for almost 40 years. I then focus on the world of denim and I became part to the "Genius Group" under the wings of the guru Adriano Goldschmied and worked with Renzo Rosso, Claudio Buziol and many more masters of the jeans industry. In the late 80s I established Nocomment Advertising: a brand new creative reality focusing on jeanswear. Those were the years when important relationship with Peter Rohr was established: his extraordinary ability to create a unique synergy has meant to take the agency to another level. From 2009 start a new adventure named Moody Srl. Last one is MYR.

I've been attracted to complex systems and algorithms since a very young age. In particular it was the idea of being able to fit and manage what is "real" into systems which are both extremely structured and numerical finite at the same time, to thrill me so much. When MYR, and the goal it aimed to achieve was explained to me, I got fascinated by the challenge in front of me: generating, by way of a software, an operative contact of a multiple, limitless, and terribly heterogeneous reality such as fashion is; the need of making it fit within a system able to not suffocate the creativity but, indeed, able to dominate it to get it more functional and easy.

R&D
The first years spent in a couple of Italian laundries, triggered a burning flame, of creativity and passion for textiles. One of the most significant experiences has been working for Freshtex International, one of the largest laundry groups around the world. Then I joined Wrangler Brand, part of the VF company, for ten years. Being a dyer chemist I was able to develop an innovative research that subsequently evolved into technical innovations on fabrics and finishes.

Development
I started my career as a worker in an industrial laundry specialized in jeans. In a few months I realised the potentialities that the sector had and together with some friends, life long business partners, I established Sedima, a centre dedicated to the evolution of the manual procedures on denim, which marked a turn in terms of execution with services available not only to brands but also, to my surprise, to competitors as well. At the same time, I established, together with my partners, an industrial laundry, Fimatex, which eventually became a reference point for what concerned research and brand development on an international level. I can honestly say that innovation and being visionary are parts of my DNA. MYR is one more challenge I want to face to support the creativity in denim processing.
